Epic Games and Wellcome are inviting games developers based in Europe to participate in a new $500,000 year-long development competition Developing Beyond. Developers are challenged to submit compelling, immersive and highly entertaining game ideas based on the theme 'Transformations' by 10 February.
Human evolution, the Black Death and life on Mars are some of the themes chosen by the semi-finalists selected for Developing Beyond, a $500,000 year-long development competition by Epic Games and Wellcome in which teams create new games IP using Epic’s Unreal Engine. Developers were challenged to submit compelling, immersive and highly entertaining concepts based on the theme Transformations.
