D&D, Uncharted, Donkey Kong and More Set for Bumper EGX in October
There’s less than one month until MCM Comic Con x EGX takes over ExCeL London for the UK’s biggest pop culture and gaming event.
The fun starts on Friday 25 October and runs until Sunday 27 October, with a huge variety of panels, guest appearances and experiences for attendees to enjoy - all panels are included in the price of a ticket.
Below are just some of the highlights gamers in attendance will be able to enjoy.
Introducing Avowed, Obsidian's next must-play RPG
At EGX, Obsidian Entertainment's Carrie Patel and Berto Ritger will join us to share insight into their upcoming fantasy action RPG, Avowed.
Uncharted Reunion
Nolan North, Richard McGonagle and Emily Rose join us on the Centre Stage for an Uncharted reunion to answer your burning questions.
30 Years of Donkey Kong Country
The creative team behind 1994 classic Donkey Kong Country will reunite at EGX, including artists Kev Bayliss and Steve Mayles, composer David Wise and game designer Gregg Mayles. The four will share anecdotes and stories around the development of iconic SNES game and take questions from the fans.
Sea of Thieves
The Sea of Thieves team return to EGX to talk about the hit pirate game's latest changes and future plans.
Mind the Gap - A Chat with Team FOLON
A brief interview with some of the Fallout: London dev team before opening up to fan questions.
Ella Purnell Spotlight
Join Ella Purnell at the Main Stage for a deep dive into her awesome career so far, from Fallout to Yellowjackets, SweetPea, Star Trek: Prodigy to Arcane and more!
Dungeons & Dragons Zone
Fans will be able to take part in a wide array of activities, including but not limited to play adventures with expert Dungeon Masters using the latest ruleset, participating in game demos, Dungeon Master workshops and more.
Natural Six Live D&D
The Web is Wide! Whether you're already a follower of their quests, a newcomer to their world, or entirely new to Dungeons & Dragons, join Natural Six for a live, standalone adventure at EGX! Expect escapades, chaos, and perhaps a few hilariously unlucky dice rolls. Natural Six is a world-class UK-based Dungeons & Dragons Actual Play video series featuring Harry McEntire, Ben Starr, Hollie Bennett, Alex Jordan, Doug Cockle, and Aoife Wilson. Don't miss out on this live event!
The cast of Baldur’s Gate 3 will also be in attendance. Neil Newbon, Samantha Béart, Tim Downie, Jennifer English, Amelia Taylor, Devora Wilde, Aliona Baranova, Theo Solomon and Tracy Wiles will be available for Photo Ops and Autographs. Emma Gregory, Dave Jones, Andrew Wincott, Ethan Reid, Scott Joseph, Tamaryn Payne, Joshua Wichard, George Taylor and Neil Roberts meanwhile will be available for Meet & Greets.
Playable games at the show include all the favourites fans have come to expect from the Retro Zone, EGX Arcade Zone and Multiplay Lounge, as well as the indie delights of the EGX Rezzed Zone and Leftfield Collection (titles to be confirmed soon).
The EGX Arena will also play host to the £5000 European TEKKEN Cup - UK & Ireland Championship, which will be open to all attendees.
