Guild Wars 2 Friend/Ships – Getting through tough times (outside Tyria) with the POOF Guild

Earlier this month, ArenaNet invited the Guild Wars 2 community to join them as they officially launched the Friend/Ships Campaign, a celebration of the unique and varied friendships and relationships that have been forged through the game. The first story, released last week, detailed Nicole and Tyler, whose in-game adventures led them to set out on a legendary (and romantic) journey together.

Today, ArenaNet has released a second story highlighting a group of friends who met in-game and formed the POOF guild. After running numerous in-game events and giveaways, the group decided to try to meet up at PAX West. Over the years since that first meet-up, they’ve got together as friends regularly—always carrying their trusty guild banner.

Check out the most recent video as Alex, Ryan and Anthony talk about how POOF guild members are always cheering for each other as they try to live their best lives, both in Tyria and out.

ArenaNet will be releasing another video later in the month, but invites all players to share their own experiences as well. Stories can be posted on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr or directly on the Guild Wars 2 Facebook page using #GW2FriendShips, or by submitting a story directly through the campaign’s website at guildwars2.com/friendships.
