Thursday 21 November 2024 - Annual charity fundraiser Jingle Jam returns on 1 December with a brand-new Games Collection, aiming to raise millions more for great causes around the globe.
The Jingle Jam Games Collection is a cornerstone of the annual charity event, which brings together games, content creators and their communities for two weeks of entertainment and has raised over £25m since 2011.
This year, Jingle Jam has reformatted its signature Games Collection, redesigning it to include fewer, but bigger, titles. This year’s collection will feature a curated selection of games from publishers such as Fireshine Games, Kepler Interactive, Chucklefish and more alongside SEGA’s BAFTA and Game Awards-nominated management sim.
The partnership with SEGA runs deeper than the game’s inclusion in the Collection. Over the two weeks of the event, content creators will be playing the upcoming Two Point Museum exclusively ahead of the game’s launch next year while fundraising. New Jingle Jam-related content will also be added to Two Point Campus in time for the event.
Developed by British developer Two Point Studios, Two Point Campus sees players put in charge of the creation and running of a university campus in a completely customisable experience which the player builds from the ground up.
“This will be the best Games Collection ever! Huge kudos to SEGA and the other publishers for supporting the event - by donating their games for free we are able to raise millions for a good cause,” said Rich Keith, chair of Jingle Jam Trustees.
“Jingle Jam has accomplished so much and has brought such a positive change for so many. We're thrilled to support the Games Collection this year! We can't wait for everything to kick off on the 1st. A massive thank you to everyone who donates, all the other lovely publishers and to all the incredible creators who make this event so special.” said Abby Reynolds, Two Point Studios Community Manager.
Each year hundreds of influencers and content creators run live streams and post videos to promote the Games Collection and fundraise for a variety of charitable causes. This year TommyInnit, Talia Mar, Tubbo, RTGame, The Spiffing Brit and many more will join founder The Yogscast to run their own Jingle Jam fundraising streams.
There are 100,000 Games Collections and anyone who donates £35 or more will receive a copy - while they last.
This year’s Games Collection will be revealed in full on 1 December. Proceeds will go towards supporting The Jingle Jam’s 2024 eight charity partners: War Child, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Austisca, Cool Earth, Sarcoma UK, The Trevor Project, Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC).
