Sucha Singh Appointed as Art Director at Sumo Sheffield
3 November 2020, Sheffield, United Kingdom: Sumo Digital, part of Sumo Group PLC and a leading independent video game developer, has today announced that Sucha Singh has been appointed as Art Director at Sumo Sheffield.
Sucha joins Sumo Sheffield with more than 24 years of experience in the video games industry, having most recently worked as an Art Director on Beyond a Steel Sky.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Sumo family and playing my part in the games and years to come,” commented Sucha.
“This year has undoubtedly been unique but it’s also a wonderful time to be joining the team, as we enter the next generation of consoles and all the possibilities that comes with it. More than anything though I’m looking forward to getting to know the talented team I’ll be working with!”
Before joining Sumo Sheffield, Sucha spent time at several game companies including Revolution Software, Megabot Games and Take Two Interactive. During his career, Sucha has worked on projects such as Beyond a Steel Sky, Broken Sword and the DIRT racing series, as well as an array of VR and licensed titles.
“There’s no doubt that Sucha will be an excellent addition to the Sumo family,” Studio Director Jim Woods added. “We’re sure that his extensive experience will allow him to hit the ground running, and we look forward to seeing his contribution to Sumo over the coming years.”
