Amazon Games Expands Third-Party Publishing With an Original Game From Glowmade
SEATTLE—September 22, 2020—Amazon Games today announced that it is expanding its third-party publishing efforts with a new project from independent studio Glowmade, who will be developing a game based on an original IP. This new project will join Smilegate RPG’s highly anticipated MMOARPG Lost Ark as part of Amazon Games’ third-party publishing portfolio.
“Amazon Games is dedicated to finding and publishing best-in-class games, whether they’re from AAA studios or passionate indie teams. Glowmade is a team of seasoned developers with the right creativity and experience to make games players will love,” said Christoph Hartmann, VP, Amazon Games. “We are excited about the opportunity to work closely with this talented studio to bring our players the very best gaming experiences.”
Glowmade was founded in 2015 and is based in Guildford, England. This dedicated team of 25 (and counting) are an experienced group of developers, with credits including Fable, Little Big Planet, Battlefield, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Glowmade is currently developing a creative online co-op experience for Amazon Games.

In addition to third-party publishing, Amazon Games is also developing original AAA games across development teams and studios in Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, and Montreal.
