BLUELOCK cast are on their way to MCM Comic Con x EGX this October
Friday 26 July, London: ReedPop have revealed today the cast of popular anime BLUELOCK are shooting their way to MCM Comic Con x EGX at ExCeL London this October for photo opportunities & autographs.
The hit show BLUELOCK, based on Japanese manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, first landed on screens in October 2022 running until March 2023. The show follows Yoichi Isagi and his goals to join the Japan national football team to become the best striker in the world by following the Blue Lock training regimen.
Fans of the anime will be able to meet...
- Ricco Fajardo (Appearing All 3 Days) - Ricco provides the voice to Yoichi Isagi, a second year high school student who is the forward for Ichinan High School’s football team. His main goal is to become the world’s best striker and frequently ranks as a top player in all of his matches. Ricco is also known for his voices in Dr Stone, My Hero Academia, Zombie Land Saga, and Assassination Classroom.
- Matt Shipman (Appearing Saturday & Sunday) - Matt plays Rin Itoshi, a contender of Blue Lock and the centre forward for Paris X Gen in the Neo Egoist League. Similarly to Yoichi, his goal is to become the world’s best striker, ranking top of Blue Lock over all the other players. Matt can also be heard in World War Blue, Gosick, Darling in the Franxx, and Dr Stone.
- Drew Breedlove (Appearing All 3 Days) - Drew is known for portraying Meguru Bachira, another contender of Blue Lock who currently plays as centre forward for FC Barcha in the Neo Egoist League. Initially joining the Blue Lock training regimen to find football rivals who share his trait of having a “monster” inside him, this later switches to becoming the best striker in the world. Drew also voices characters in Wind Breaker, My Tiny Senpai, and Vinland Saga.
MCM Comic Con London and EGX will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October, and will be the first time both events are under one roof. Attendees can expect many more guest announcements in the coming months.
