First Develop:Brighton 2022 Speakers Announced – Super Early Bird Passes on Sale Now
Monday 21 March: Develop:Brighton returns this summer to unite, empower and skill-up the game making community with a host of fascinating expert talks from all corners of the industry covering everything from game design and monetisation to the metaverse and user interfaces.
Organisers Tandem Events have today announced the first speakers for Develop:Brighton 2022, taking place 12-14 July at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, including representatives from Tencent, Electronic Arts, Media Molecule and Creative Assembly.
“Develop:Brighton 2022 will once again have a focused selection of high-quality talks, firesides and roundtable discussions offering valuable insights and opportunities for game makers to bolster their skillsets no matter their field of expertise,” said Tandem Events Managing Director Andy Lane.
“The first wave of talks we’re announcing today covers a variety of topics beyond even our eight tracks. As ever, we’ve been listening to the community and will be hosting talks on a wide range of hot topics they want to hear about, including character design, ethical work practices, UX/UI design, TikTok and much more.
“All this and our headline keynote from Arkane Lyon, offering insight into the development of DEATHLOOP from the game’s creative leads.”
Conference passes are now on sale at a special Super Early Bird rate of 30% off until Wednesday 6 April. Digital passes are also available, offering access to livestream sessions and online networking through our dedicated event platform.
As ever Expo Passes are free and include access to Indie Bootcamp sessions, roundtables and more.

The Develop:Brighton expo will run from Wednesday 13 July, including the returning Indie Showcase competition. The Develop:Star Awards also take place on that Wednesday and will celebrate the best and brightest of the game developer community.
Entries for The Develop:Star Awards are now open. The deadline for submissions is Friday 1 April.
