FOLLOW THE PATHS OF FATE WITH FINAL FANTASY XIV PATCH 7.5 TRAIL TO THE HEAVENS, OUT TODAY
New Content Includes New Main Scenario Quests, Echoes of Vana'diel Part 3 – Windurst: The Third Walk, and More
London (28th April, 2026) – SQUARE ENIX today released the latest major patch for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online with Patch 7.5: Trail to the Heavens.
The Warrior of Light’s journey continues with new main scenario quests in the first of a two-part conclusion to the story told throughout the Dawntrail patch series. Further additions and challenges also arrive, including the final instalment of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series, The Clyteum dungeon, the Enuo trial in both Normal and Extreme difficulties and Shinryu’s Domain (Unreal) trial.
The patch also introduces a variety of additions for players, including the addition of The Dusk Vigil and Shisui of the Violet Tides to the Duty Support system, a new PvP Crystalline Conflict arena, Ocean Fishing updates as well as Housing updates and much more. Finally, newcomers can also look forward to the latest update to the Free Trial, which now allows players to experience the critically acclaimed Shadowbringers expansion (and updates through Patch 5.58) with no restriction on playtime.

- Duty Support Additions – Support for The Dusk Vigil & Shisui of the Violet Tides will be added
- PvP Updates – PvP Series 11 begins, with adjustments to existing PvP actions and the addition of a new Crystalline Conflict arena: the Archeia Harmonia
- New Dungeon – The Clyteum
- New Alliance Raid – Echoes of Vana'diel, Part 3 – Windurst: The Third Walk
- New Trial – Enuo - Includes both Normal and Extreme difficulties
- New Unreal Trial – Shinryu’s Domain (Unreal): Take on the mighty Shinryu at level 100
- Ocean Fishing Update – New route (towards Thavnair)
- Housing Update – Increased limits for interior and exterior furnishings, new interior designs, and more
- Armoire Update – A dramatic increase to the number of items that can be stored
- Miscellaneous Updates – Companion Chocobo system update, more convenient crafting updates, and more.
- Cosmic Exploration: New Planet – Auxsia (Patch 7.51) – A new planet for intrepid crafters and gatherers to explore, as well as additional updates and changes
