Hangar 13’s Haden Blackman and Andy Wilson to Deliver Keynote at Develop:Brighton 2018
Early Bird tickets on sale until 6 June; Full Conference Programme Now Live.
4 June 2018: Hangar 13 Global Studio Head Haden Blackman and Vice President of Development Andy Wilson will deliver the final keynote to be announced for the Develop:Brighton conference and expo this July.
At the Hilton Brighton Metropole, during a fireside chat closing the opening day of the show on Tuesday 10th July, the pair will open up about multi-studio development and the making of Mafia III with GamesIndustry.biz publisher Christopher Dring.
They will discuss Hangar 13’s formation, the creation of their 60s-set crime epic and the developer’s future having recently opened a new studio just down the road from this year’s conference.
The two veterans join fellow keynote speakers Shuhei Yoshida, Jade Raymond and Chet Faliszek, speaking on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th respectively, and Mike Bithell and Rami Ismail, whose joint chat will be the last keynote of the conference.
“We’re delighted to have Haden and Andy joining us in Brighton,” said Andy Lane, managing director of Develop:Brighton organisers, Tandem Events. “Together they have more than 30 years of experience in game development to discuss, making their keynote a must-see for all attendees, and not least for fans of their work on Mafia III.”
Develop:Brighton, Europe’s leading game developer conference and expo, will consist of eight tracks: Design; Art; Audio; Business; Coding; Evolve; Indie and Discoverability across a new three day format with the expo open on Wednesday and Thursday.
