Luke Evans, Oded Fehr & Baldur’s Gate 3 Cast Join MCM Comic Con Birmingham

Wednesday 6 November 2024: ReedPop is pleased to announce that more guests have been announced for MCM Comic Con Birmingham later this month.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of their favourite actors from a range of movies and games, including The Hobbit, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Ghost of Tsushima. Guests will be attending meet and greets, autograph signings and speaking at panels on an individual basis.

MCM Comic Con Birmingham will take place at the National Exhibition Centre from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December.

With many more to come, guests include…

Luke Evans (The Hobbit / Beauty and the Beast)

  • Luke will be joining us to celebrate the release of his memoir ‘Boy From the Valleys: My Unexpected Journey’. Luke is best known for his roles as Bard the Bowman in The Hobbit, Gaston in Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast and Dracula in Dracula Untold.
  • Luke will only be signing copies of his 'Boy From The Valleys' book - these can be bought on site or attendees can bring a copy of their own. He will not be taking part in additional signings or meet and greets on the day.

Oded Fehr (The Mummy / Star Trek Discovery / Destiny)

  • Oded shot to fame after his role as Ardeth Bey in 1999’s swashbuckling classic The Mummy but is also known for his roles in Star Trek: Discovery as Admiral Charles Vance and in Destiny as Osiris.

Daisuke Tsuji (Ghosts of Tsushima / Mortal Kombat)

  • Daisuke is best known for bringing to life Jin Sakai, the main protagonist of the 2020 video game Ghost of Tsushima. In this role, he provided the English voice, likeness and motion capture performance. Additionally, he can also be recognised as the voice of the iconic Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 1, and for his roles as The Musician in Death Stranding and Hiro “Oni” Watanabe in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

Maggie Robertson (Resident Evil Village / Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Maggie is known for her iconic voice acting performances in video games, most notably her performance as the towering Lady Dimitriescu in Resident Evil Village. Additionally, she recently brought to life the cunning Orin the Red in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Samantha Béart (Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Samantha is known for bringing to life the loveable Karlach, a Tiefling Barbarian experiencing her first taste of freedom. Samantha has also been nominated for a BAFTA for their role as Thomasina Bateman in The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow.

Andrew Wincott (Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Andrew will be most recognised for his BAFTA-winning performance of Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3. Alongside this, he also voiced Jacques de Aldersberg in The Witcher and played Adam Macy in The Archers.

Emma Gregory (Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Emma is best known for her portrayal of the ruthless Nightwarden Minthara in Baldur’s Gate 3. Additionally, Emma can also be recognised for her performances for Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Warhammer 40k.

Dave Jones (Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Dave is most recently known for his role as the hearthrob druid, Halsin, in Baldur’s Gate 3. His performances can also be seen in Warhammer 40k, Alma’s Not Normal and The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow.

Neil Roberts (Baldur’s Gate 3)

  • Neil will be most recognised for his performance as The Dark Urge in Baldur’s Gate 3. He also played Rex Buckland in Charmed, alongside roles in Emmerdale, Eastenders and Hollyoaks.
