WINDSOR, UK – February 13, 2025 – Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. (KONAMI) today announced METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will release Aug. 28 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and STEAM®. A new trailer shown during today’s PlayStation State of Play event revealed members of the infamous Cobra Unit and teased the return of SNAKE VS MONKEY – a fan-favorite special game for the PlayStation and Steam versions of the game*. METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will be a faithful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater originally released in 2004 for the PlayStation®2. A new generation of players and loyal fans alike can experience the origin story of the famed BIG BOSS, and witness how his legend was forged in the crucible of Operation Snake Eater. The remake will star the original English and Japanese voice characters, rich storyline and expansive features of combat survival in harsh environments evolved with unprecedented graphics and immersive sound.

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Day One Edition will include a DLC pack allowing players to suit up with Snake’s White Tuxedo uniform as a pre-order bonus.

The Digital Deluxe Edition and physical Deluxe Edition will both include the Sneaking DLC Pack, giving players multiple uniforms, face paints, and unique equipment to use while infiltrating enemy lines. The Sneaking DLC Pack will also be sold separately after launch. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition grants players 48 hours of early access to play the game ahead of launch.
