Milla Jovovich stars in a New Elusive Target Mission Available Now for Free in HITMAN World of Assassination
Copenhagen, Denmark, February 25th, 2026 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind, among others, the internationally acclaimed HITMANfranchise and the upcoming 007 First Light, has just launched a new Elusive Target Mission in HITMAN World of Assassination. The new Elusive Target mission: The Harbinger, starring blockbuster actress Milla Jovovich, will be available from February 25 to March 24, 2026, for free in game and via the Free Demo (previously known as Free Starter Pack), on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch™*, Nintendo Switch™2*, iPhone, iPad, and now on the Apple silicon Mac lineup via the Mac App Store and Steam.

“Our celebrity Elusive Target missions are our chance to grow our storytelling methods within the World of Assassination, and this mission is no exception. Revisiting the Patient Zero storyline with an action star like Milla Jovovich lets us fuse 10 years of HITMAN history with blockbuster talent,” shared Hakan Abrak, CEO at IO Interactive.

The Harbinger - Available for free starting February 25th
In this new mission, Agent 47 is tasked with the elimination of Lilith Devereux, the ambitious prospective CEO of Ether Corporation. A relative newcomer in the world of the wealthy, Devereux’s rapid ascent has also witnessed the mysterious deaths of her predecessors and rumored relationships with her biggest supporters. For this mission, players will visit Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor, which may offer Agent 47 a few surprises along the way.
Patient Zero Requiem Pack (RRP: $4.99/€4.99/£3.99)
The Patient Zero Requiem Pack, a brand new DLC pack themed after the latest Elusive Target, is also available, starting today and on all platforms.

A brand-new roadmap will also begin today bringing both added and returning content for players to enjoy. With two new challenges, two new Featured Contracts, two new Twitch Drops, returning Elusive Targets, and events, there will be plenty of targets for Agent 47 to take on! HITMAN WOA available on Mac starting today
HITMAN World of Assassination is also launching today on Apple silicon Mac lineup (requires 16GB+ of memory), giving even more options for players wanting to play on different devices. HITMAN WOA will be available for Mac both on the Mac App Store and on Steam. Players that own the game on iPhone or iPad will be able to download the game on Mac through the Mac App Store free of charge. HITMAN WOA’s content will also support the new platform, with the Harbinger mission featuring Milla Jovovich available to play starting today. Additionally, IO Interactive recently announced cross-progression across platforms, meaning that players share their progression on all the platforms on which they play HITMAN World of Assassination.
