Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Digital Companion Releases Today
TaleWorlds Entertainment releases today Bannerlord’s Digital Companion, with features such as an illustrated and voiced storybook. This App will also be bundled with the game in the new Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Digital Deluxe Edition
TaleWorlds Entertainment releases today (Dec 16th) Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Digital Companion, available for $9.99 /€9.99 as a DLC on Steam, Epic and GoG, and as a standalone app on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Current owners of the PC version of the game, though, will receive the Digital Companion DLC for free – thus, millions of Bannerlord players all over the world will receive the Digital Companion as a gift, in celebration of the recent full release of the game and as a token of appreciation for their continued support during the Early Access period.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Digital Companion includes a beautifully illustrated and voiced story book, which explores the world of Calradia from a new perspective. Inspired by Marco Polo’s and Ibn Battuta’s travel books, it follows the journey of a scribe across Calradia, tasked by Istiana (a character from the game) with reporting his travels and discoveries for her.
It also includes a hand-drawn map of the continent of Calradia, where the game takes place, as well as a collection of concept art that gives players a glance behind the scenes of the creative process that brought the acclaimed and long-anticipated sequel to Warband. Finally, the app includes a collection of the music soundtrack of the game that they can listen to while using all the features of the Digital Companion. The Digital Companion texts are fully localized to all the languages available in the game.
The company is also excited to announce the release of the new special edition Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Digital Deluxe, which includes both the base game and the Digital Companion for $59.99/€59.99. The game, the Digital Companion and the Digital Deluxe edition will be available with a 30% discount on PC (20% on consoles) during the holiday season.
