TEAM UP FOR NEW ADVENTURES IN SWORD ART ONLINE FRACTURED DAYDREAM, AVAILABLE NOW

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe today released SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via STEAM. This title is the first-ever large-scale, live-service, multiplayer adventure title in the Sword Art Online video game series.

In the vast virtual world of Alfheim Online, a new system called Galaxia is installed, and a malfunction causes all worlds and timelines to merge, creating a chaotic landscape for Kirito and his friends. Lost in this unfamiliar territory, they must form unlikely alliances and face new challenges to survive the dangers of this unsettled world.

SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream presents an original story featuring fan-favourite characters like Asuna, Kirito, and Leafa, and offers a thrilling co-op experience with cross-platform play. Players can engage in intense boss battles and cooperative quests in this action-packed game.

In single player offline mode, players can relive the story by facing enemies and embark on their individual journey to fix the timeline caused by Galaxia’s outburst. While in online mode, players can team up, creating parties of up to 20 players to play Co-Op Quest, Boss Raid and Free Roam. In Co-Op Quest, players will need to clear missions followed by challenging a boss at the end. In Boss Raid, players will battle against a giant boss enemy requiring cooperation and strategy to achieve victory. In Free Roam, players will freely explore and meet other online players to enjoy a co-op experience.
