The Blood of Dawnwalker shows duality in new improved gameplay extended footage
Rebel Wolves have been hard at work on The Blood of Dawnwalker, the upcoming dark fantasy RPG set in the 14th-century fictional location of Vale Sangora, a forgotten corner of the Carpathian Mountains. In it, players take on the role of Coen, a man turned into a Dawnwalker: human by day, vampire by night, and will have to use this power to rescue his family, captured by the vampiric feudal lords who have taken over Vale Sangora.
Revealed to the public for the first time, this new video showcases game improvements prompted by community feedback, such as changes to the flow of fights and the camera placement, improved mechanics and features, and more.
The new footage, narrated by Rebel Wolves writer Ariana Siarkiewicz, follows Coen on an investigation around Svartrau Cathedral, showcasing dynamic fights against humans and monsters, with details of some of the in-game lore. Watch the gameplay footage here:
The Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed by Rebel Wolves on Unreal Engine 5 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
