THE YU-GI-OH! CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES RETURNS TO IN-PERSON EVENTS AFTER TWO YEARS OUT, STARTING IN JANUARY 2022
Taking place across 21-23 January, the Utrecht YCS will be the first event of its kind in nearly two years, with the last in-person YCS being held in February 2020.
Well over a thousand Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) players will come together to Duel in the Jaarbeurs exhibition centre. They’ll battle in a three-day event for an array of fantastic prizes and the chance to qualify for the European World Championship Qualifier, with the eventual victors from that going on to the prestigious Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship itself.
Prizes include the latest gaming systems and special prize cards, with the winner picking up an Ultra Rare Duel Link Dragon, the Duel Dragon and the special YCS trophy. All attendees will also receive a participation Game Mat and Promo Card while supplies last.
Outside of the main tournament, there’ll be plenty of things for attendees to enjoy over the course of the weekend, including a full schedule of public events. Attendees can take part for the chance to win prize tickets and to get their hands on Yu-Gi-Oh! goodies, including the fan-favourite GIANT CARDS!
