(London, UK) 5 September, 2017 - The British Toy & Hobby Association has today opened visitor and media registration for Toy Fair 2018. The 65th annual Toy Fair will take place at Olympia London from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 January 2018, with press day scheduled for Tuesday 23 January. The Toy Fair is the largest dedicated toy, game, and hobby trade exhibition in the UK. Covering 22,000m2 of floor space, more than 250 exhibiting companies will launch thousands of brand new toy lines. Retailers, licensors and media who visit the show get to experience these toys first, whilst also discovering new brands and hidden gems. Additionally, Toy Fair is an invaluable opportunity for visitors to network with the UK toy industry, from the biggest players to the innovative inventors and start ups, all under one roof.
Confirmed companies include Vivid Toy Group, Character Options, Bandai, Flair Leisure Products, Sambro, Wild Card Games, KD UK, Depesche, Posh Paws, Kidkraft and many more.
“Toy Fair remains one of the most important dates in Vivid’s toy calendar,” said Darrell Jones, Marketing Manager at Vivid Toy Group. “It continues to offer us a great forum to showcase our new launches to our existing customers, as well as seeking out new business opportunities.”
For exhibiting companies, Toy Fair is a great opportunity to allow attendees to get hands-on with their latest toys. Only a few spaces remain for exhibiting companies, so those interested should register soon to avoid disappointment.
“Toy Fair 2018 is the perfect event to showcase the creativity, ingenuity, and passion of the UK toy industry,” said Majen Immink, Director of Fairs and Special Events. “Every year we see fantastic toys from all different types of businesses, from start-ups to larger international companies. We’re thrilled to have so many returning to exhibit again, including 75% of those from last year, as well as new faces joining us for the first time.”
Register for free at www.toyfair.co.uk from 5 September. To make reapplying easy, attendees from any of the past three Toy Fairs will receive a Smart Link to their existing profile, so need only check, update and submit their details to receive their 2018 show ticket. Visitors who choose not to pre-register or confirm their Smart Link will be required to pay a £15 entry fee on the door.
