ArenaNet Announces Friend/Ships Campaign Winners, Highlights Love and Companionship

In February of this year, ArenaNet announced the launch of its inaugural Friend/Ships campaign, a celebration of the real world friendships and relationships that have been formed in Tyria. Inspired and touched by the camaraderie and genuine connections built in-game, the ArenaNet team highlighted three unique stories over the past months, and throughout the campaign, hundreds more heartwarming stories poured in from players all over the world.

As part of this initiative, eligible players who submitted Friend/Ships stories during the campaign using #GW2Giveaway were entered into a sweepstakes to win a variety of prizes, including a trip to visit Seattle, Washington during PAX West 2018 this fall. Other prizes included:

• Discount codes for Guild Wars 2 merchandise
• Commissioned portraits of winners’ characters by one of ArenaNet’s Creative Partners
