Press release -
Doctor Who Icons Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker, Paul McGann & Peter Davison reunite at MCM Birmingham Comic Con
Friday 14th November: Doctor Who legends Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker, Paul McGann and Peter Davison will appear together on-stage at MCM Birmingham Comic Con, which returns to the NEC from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November,
The four iconic stars of the timeless sci-fi classic will take part in a panel together, discussing the hit series, their time making it and the lasting legacy of a pop culture titan. Further details about the panel will be announced in due course through MCM Comic Con channels.
Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann and Peter Davison will also be appearing across all-three days for photo and autograph opportunities, with Colin Baker appearing on Saturday and Sunday only.
Peter Davison took on the iconic role of The Doctor for three series in 1982, regenerating into Sixth Doctor Colin Baker in 1984. Baker played the role for three more series before Sylvester McCoy’s Seventh Doctor took over in 1987. As the Eighth Doctor, and the last before the BBC’s 2005 reboot, Paul McGann played the doctor in 1996’s TV movie.
All four actors made subsequent appearances in cameos and audio plays, most notably appearing together in 2022’s The Power of the Doctor - the episode marking the end of Jodie Whitaker’s run as the Thirteenth Doctor.
