eFootball™ 2023 KICKS OFF WITH NEW SEASON DATA, UPDATED SQUADS, AND THE ADDITION OF AC MILAN AND FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO
KONAMI’s latest title in the eFootball™ series drops with new features, new licenses, and two new Player Ambassadors in Bruno Fernandes and Trent Alexander-Arnold
25th August 2022 – Windsor – Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today can announce the release of both the console and mobile versions of eFootball™ 2023. The game will be available across PlayStation 4®, PlayStation 5®, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows®10, and PC Steam® devices.
eFootball™ returns for its second year, bringing the updated player data and transfers from the summer window. With the continued ‘free to play’ model, KONAMI are bringing their fans the latest updates in football simulation gaming including the updated squads and stadiums for the majority of partnered and licensed clubs on their roster.
New Partnerships
eFootball™ 2023 will see the return of two former partners in AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, the current holders of Italy’s top domestic league competition and cup competition respectively. This will see the introduction to the clubs’ full squads, kits, and the iconic stadium that they share: the San Siro.
In an exclusive license agreement, Liga BBVA MX will be implemented in eFootball™ 2023, bringing all 18 Mexican clubs, stunning replications of its players, and the addition of the historic Estadio Azteca.
However, it is not just clubs that KONAMI has added. English international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes join the roster of already top-class Player Ambassadors, including Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Takefusa Kubo.
Fresh Card Types
The latest eFootball™ title will see the introduction of two new card types for its flagship game mode ‘Dream Team’: ‘Epic’ and ‘Highlight’.
‘Epic’ – Epic cards will centre around players throughout football history, celebrating defining seasons of brilliance from them.
‘Highlight’ – Highlight cards will focus on the current season as it unfolds, picking up current players who are setting world football alight in the 2022/23 season.

Even novices to the game can set themselves up with a strong base, as these packs provide them with 11 top squad members from some of world football’s best clubs.
