Tuesday 9 April - Dublin: Vela Games, today revealed the evolution of Evercore Heroes into an all-new 3-Player Team Action Roguelite coming to Steam. The new game will focus on real-time combat, teamplay dynamics, and deep progression with a wide roster of playable heroes.

UNCOVER A STORY OF HEROES, MAGIC, AND BETRAYAL!

Evercore Heroes tells the story of Lotus and Kaine, former rivals who have teamed up to lead the Luum Sentinels – a diverse band of heroes fighting to prevent the world’s magic from falling into chaos. The sinister Fate’s Blade army has shattered the fabled Evercore crystal, knocking Lumerea’s magical energies out of balance. Only the Luum Sentinels can restore the Evercore and defeat Fate’s Blade!

TEAM UP, CHOOSE YOUR HEROES, AND MAKE YOUR BUILDS

To take on the forces of chaos, players will form a team of three heroes from a colorful roster of damage dealers, tanks, and support characters to take on missions across the sci-fantasy world of Lumerea. More than a dozen unique sentinels will be made available to play. Players will decide as a team which rewards to pursue during each mission and make strategic decisions to create the most powerful builds for their individual heroes.

A Unique Challenge Every Time
Each map offers a procedurally shuffled roster of aggressive enemies, enticing rewards, and skill-based challenges. If players survive long enough, they will have to face a formidable end-game encounter before earning the best rewards.

Come Back Smarter And Stronger Every Run
Of course, players won’t be expected to overcome all of the challenges on their first attempt! After each run, they can unlock new ways to play, devise different strategies and builds, then try again to win the day as a team!

Go Deep And Discover A Universe Of Possibilities
Between missions players will unlock over a dozen unique heroes and a wide variety of customization options; such as trading in mission rewards to unlock permanent power-ups; changing their heroes’ builds by discovering a collection of magical Shards; collecting ingredients to cook powerful recipes; and earning a trove of cosmetics, emotes, and catchphrases for their favorite heroes.

DESIGNED FOR PLAYERS, WITH THEIR INPUT

“After our closed beta in 2023, we really listened to all of the amazing feedback we received from our players,” said Vela Games CEO and Co-Founder, Travis George.

“Despite some big changes at Vela, our team took that feedback and made an all-new game from the best parts of Evercore Heroes. We really took it back to its roots, focusing on cooperative action and true teamplay with an exciting roster of heroes, which is the kind of fun multiplayer experience Vela has wanted to bring players from day one.”
