KONAMI REVEALS EXCLUSIVE ITEMS FOR YU-GI-OH! FANS TO OBTAIN AT THE SPECIAL 275TH YU-GI-OH! CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES CELEBRATION EVENT IN LILLE, FRANCE
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) is thrilled to unveil the exclusive items that Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will have a chance to obtain at the upcoming special 275th Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) celebration event, taking place on 27th-29thSeptember in Lille, France.
First up, every Duelist registered to play in the Main Event over the weekend will be presented with the following participation Game Mat at check in. This exclusive Game Mat showcases the artworks of 2 different cards that debuted in The Infinite Forbidden this July – Spell Card “Monster Reborn” on which you can see the iconic Dark Magician, and Spell Card “Soul Exchange” featuring the other fan-favourite Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
For the most talented Duelists that make their way into the top cut, a very special Game Mat awaits – featuring Anotherverse Solaria, the new season’s YCS Prize Card monster. What makes this Game Mat even more special though is the background design – as it represents the country that the celebration event takes place in, with the French flag colours proudly on display. A very unique collector’s item for sure!
Last but not least, for Duelists who wish to participate in Public Events that are being offered outside of the Main Event, a 275th YCS celebration Event Exclusive Prize Wall Mat will be made available. Duelists will only be able to procure this Game Mat from the Public Events Prize Wall during the 275th YCS Lille event. This Game Mat’s design is based on the alternate card art for Raigeki, debuting in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in September’s 25th Anniversary Tin: Dueling Mirrors.
275th YCS Lille will take place on the weekend of 27th-29th September 2024 at the Lille Grand Palais in Lille, France. For more information about the event, please visit the dedicated page on the official KONAMI website.
