Sumo Leamington Announces Partnership with Dapper Labs

Studios to partner on blockchain-powered title

Thursday 1 October 2020 | Sumo Digital, part of Sumo Group PLC and a leading independent video game developer, has today announced a partnership between Sumo Leamington and blockchain experts Dapper Labs.

The teams at Sumo Leamington and Dapper Labs are collaborating on upcoming projects on Dapper Labs’ Flow blockchain.

Dapper Labs, creators of CryptoKitties, is best known for building accessible sports, entertainment consumer experiences on blockchain technology. In addition to their own original IP, Dapper Labs has partnered with brands like the NBA, UFC, and Warner Music Group to bring blockchain experiences to fans around the world.

Dapper Labs’ Flow blockchain is a fast, secure and developer-friendly blockchain technology; it was designed from the ground up as a foundation for internet-scale protocols and applications that also require exceptional user experience. The blockchain was developed and stress-tested with top global partners and is now open for anyone to contribute to and benefit from. Flow is a new blockchain built for the next generation of apps, games, and the digital assets that power them.

Sumo Leamington was established by the Sumo Digital in 2019 to focus on the development of high-quality mobile and cross platform titles. The studio is one of the nine studios that makes up Sumo Digital.
